About Kelly Clark Attorney at Law
A staunch advocate for children's rights, Kelly Clark has dedicated over two decades of his professional career to helping those who have been violated by so-called "institutions of trust." These institutions include churches, schools, and youth groups. To date, Kelly Clark has gone up against dozens of these institutions, bringing significant changes to laws that have failed to protect child abuse victims in the past. Within the past decade, Kelly Clark has won several landmark cases against the Catholic Church, The Boy Scouts of America, and local governments, which have set a precedent for many victims to come out and begin an important part of their healing process: facing their abusers and demanding restitution for their suffering. Kelly Clark has also pursued initiatives at a political level as the sponsor of the Oregon Statute of Limitations on Child Abuse and Oregon's ban on the possession of child pornography. Kelly Clark is a Partner at O'Donnell Clark & Crew LLP. The firm is deeply experienced in cases pertaining to civil rights, voting rights, freedom of speech, property rights, and much more. Kelly Clark studied law and politics as a student at Lewis and Clark College, first earning his undergraduate degree in Political Science. In 1983, Kelly Clark earned his Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark Law School. Additionally, Kelly Clark has studied theology, and he is a candidate for a Master of Divinity from Trinity College Theological School in Melbourne, Australia. Currently living in Portland, Oregon, Kelly Clark is often sought by local venues such as Lewis and Clark Law School and the University of Oregon to speak and give presentations on his experiences. An accomplished editorialist, Kelly Clark is a regular contributor to such publications as The Oregonian, Brainstorm Magazine and other professional journals. Additionally, Kelly Clark is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science and Constitutional Law at George Fox University.
